New Home Construction

Our homes are built almost entirely by volunteers, both skilled and unskilled. Whether you are a contractor or have never picked up a hammer, we need your help! All the tools and safety gear you need for the day is provided and no previous experience is necessary.
Individual Volunteers: Orientations take place on zoom once per week. A pre-recorded video can also be sent if the scheduled orientation times do not fit your schedule. To register for orientation, click here.
Volunteer Groups: Build sites can accommodate groups of up to 10 volunteers upon request. Click here to learn more about GroupBuild opportunities.
Safety trainings take place at the start of each build day.
What if all the volunteer spots are full?
You can add yourself to the waitlist for any shifts that are full. All volunteers on the waitlist will be notified if space opens up. The new open spot will be first come first serve.
Health and Safety
Closed-toed shoes are required for volunteering. Masks are currently not required, but we expect everyone to be respectful of each other's decisions.
We strive for a culture where people of every race, ethnicity, nationality, economic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, size, and disability are welcomed, empowered, and celebrated. Please contact us about any accessibility requirements you have so we can work together to accommodate you.
Evergreen Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, community, and hope through affordable homeownership. Thank you for putting the heart in our homes!
