Travel on our donation pickup (DPU) truck with a certified driver to assist with loading & unloading donated items.
Supervisor: Our certified driver will guide you during working ours. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for volunteer portal questions, volunteer hours tracking, and formal feedback.
Time Commitment: The DPU truck leaves promptly at 9am. The day is split into two shifts: 9am-12pm and 12:30pm-4pm. Volunteers may sign up for just one or both. We do our best to get the truck back by noon, but please plan your day for the possibility of it being back a little late.
Location: The DPU truck begins each day at the Central Vancouver Habitat Store at 10811 SE 2nd Street, then goes all throughout Clark County to collect donations from residents and businesses.
Requirements: DPU volunteers must be able to lift 50+ pounds multiple times throughout the day.
Orientation & Training is required for truck volunteers.
