The Clark County Habitat for Humanity Store accepts donated new and used building materials, furniture, appliances, lighting fixtures, and other home goods. The Clark County Habitat Store is a source of significant funding for Evergreen Habitat for Humanity home-building projects.
The Store is also big into reuse. Last year our team helped divert ~2,000 tons of reusable materials from landfills--and we're working to improve that number. We earned $43,000 by recycling 160 tons of metal thanks to our team of volunteers who separate and sort various unsellable metal items every day.
Our shoppers are some of the most creative on the planet. We love how they re-think, re-imagine, and re-invent with used materials. Of course we have to praise and appreciate our generous donors, business partners, and our amazing team of volunteers, who clocked over 11,000 hours in the store last year! Together, we're helping make the dream of homeownership a reality for hardworking families in Clark County.
