Our Clark County Habitat Stores accept donated new and used building materials, furniture, appliances, lighting fixtures, and other home goods. Our stores are a source of significant funding for Evergreen Habitat for Humanity home-building projects.
Habitat Stores are also big into reuse. Last year our team helped divert ~850 tons of reusable materials from landfills--and we're working to improve that number. We raised $34,000 by recycling 116.5 tons of metal thanks to our team of volunteers who separate and sort various unsellable metal items every day.
Our shoppers are some of the most creative on the planet. We love how they re-think, re-imagine, and re-invent with used materials. Of course we have to praise and appreciate our generous donors, business partners, and our amazing team of volunteers, who donated over 11,000 hours in the store last year! Together, we're helping make the dream of homeownership a reality for hardworking folks in Clark County.
