Global Village

Habitat for Humanity builds in more than 80 countries around the world, working in local villages and communities to address the most urgent housing and health needs.

Each year Evergreen Habitat for Humanity “tithes” 10% of privately raised undesignated funds to support Habitat’s mission worldwide with a goal of eliminating poverty housing and homelessness. Currently, our tithe goes towards building homes in Nepal and Ethiopia. 

Every year, staff and volunteers from Clark County "follow" our tithe dollars abroad and travel to a Habitat for Humanity in another country to build and repair homes for local families in need. In the past, we have traveled to Guatemala and Nepal and are hopeful for a trip to Ethiopia when the covid travel restrictions are lifted in 2023.
