The entire store will be 50% off the original price tag, with some exclusions on purchased product. This event is a great way for us to engage new customers while showing our appreciation to long-standing customers. It will be BUSY! Come prepared to be on your feet, and please wear close-toed shoes.
Volunteers for this event can help in a number of ways, including:
- Parking attendants (4 at any given time, 6 first thing in the morning)
- Help customers load cars
- Assisting our cashiers by filling out "hold" and "sold" stickers
- Directing the check-out line
- Answer customer questions or find a staff member who can
- Outreach table

Plan for day:
8:00 am Store staff set up stanchions and sale items
9:00 am First shift of volunteers arrive - team huddle and assign tasks
9:30 am Open driveway cables for customers
Volunteers help customers park in Store lot first, overflow lots second
Volunteers help customers form line for entry
10:00 am Sale begins, open small garage door as main entrance
Office staff/volunteers hand out gift cards (first 50 customers get a $10 gift card)
Assistance needed with cashiering, line monitor, customer service, and load outs.

How do I buy furniture?
Pull price cards off furniture, take a picture of the price tag, or bring the item up to the register.
How do I know the item will still be there when I’m done checking out?
You can ask any staff member for a 1 hour hold sticker to put on your item!
How long is this sale for?
Sale is Saturday only.
Is it half off plus the color discount?
No, 50% off the original marked price on the tag. 50% off sale does not stack w/ other discounts.
Is everything on sale?
Almost! Everything except: MBS paint supplies (new brushes, rollers, painter’s tape), Dahdoul’s area rugs, & Visions Paint. (These are marked)
How long can you hold my item?
We have two options:
· Unpaid hold for 1 hour only (Blue sticker with clock logo) Mark the time hold expires!
· Paid hold through Sunday only (Red “SOLD” tags) Items MUST be picked up Saturday or Sunday. Fill out hold slip with cashier!
Can I negotiate on the price?
No, we don’t change the marked price. All proceeds go towards our affordable homeownership program.
Can you help me move my furniture?
Yes, we are happy to help with moving and loading purchases. However, we cannot assist with securing straps or tiedowns.
Are you taking donations today?
No, all staff are focused on the sale! We will be open for donations tomorrow, regular hours.
